larrygad@betabatt.com BetaBatt is a Texas-based direct energy conversion technology company
that is in the business of developing long-lasting reliable power sources. The company has researched and patented a novel 3D energy conversion architecture named the DECTM
Cell, based on nano-scale porous silicon. The DECTM
Cell is able to convert decay electrons to electricity 10 times more efficiently than conventional 2D devices using standard semiconductor manufacturing methods. Its first commercial product, a quarter size battery with a 12-20 year lifespan and mission critical reliability, has performance characteristics that address current problems faced by medical implant, oil and gas, and remote sensing industries, as well as military and space organizations.
Buffalo BioBlower Technologies www.chem.buffalo.edu/Garvey.html
James Garvey (716) 908-9262
ubgarvey@fastmail.fm
BioBlower rapidly and continuously cycles large quantities of air, or aerosolized liquid, while simultaneously sterilizing the
entire flow of air, as it passes through the apparatus. BioBlower is designed to continuously destroy all biological pathogens within the air flow, including all bacteria, spores, viruses, pollen and molds that
are harmful to humans. BioBlower can be small enough to act as a portable unit for tent inflation, or to create an isolation ward on demand. In contrast, BioBlower can be manufactured to be permanently
installed within a building to handle the entire air flow of the structure.
BullEx Digital Safety 105 Jordan Road Troy, New York 12180 www.bullexsafety.comRyan O'Donnell (518) 833-0432
rodonnell@bullexsafety.comBullEx has recently launched the world's most advanced
and cost effective fire extinguisher training system. Fire accounts for over $9 billion in property loss each year in the United States and the majority of these fires can be stopped before growing too large with a
single extinguisher, operated by a trained individual. This fact has led to federal regulations requiring annual extinguisher training for all employees with access to fire extinguishers. The Intelligent Training System
provides safe and realistic live-fire training with a cost savings of up to 94% over conventional training. The ease of use and significant cost reduction the system provides has led to a strong demand for the product
internationally and across industries.

aogut@environmentalenergytech.com Environmental Energy Technologies(EET), Inc., a spin-off company from Rochester Institute of Technology, develops technologies that address the major issues of pollution control and energy conservation. With
this goal EET is developing a Diesel Particulate Trap (DPT). DPT is designed to work by charging carbon particles in diesel exhaust stream by corona discharge or non-thermal plasma created by a high voltage probe. Its
applications include on-road, off-road vehicles and stationary power generators. The unique feature of the product is simplicity of design, associated low cost, passive self regeneration, lower weight, and lower system
pressure drop-less fuel penalty. On average prototype tests achieved 30 to 85% soot reductions.

Medication Scheduling Intelligent Assistant designs systems that provides a personalized schedule for people taking multiple perscription medications. People who are taking multiple medications are often
confused about when to take them. Each medication comes with it's own rules, but people need to organize all of their medicines together. The system takes a list of all your medicines as input and outputs a single
schedule with all your medication dosages. The basic system delivers the schedule on a piece of paper, but other forms of delivery include kiosk, portable device, reminder service, web portal, and intelligent pill
bottles.
